Our Public Safety Elective Class wrapped up its 4th year with Awards Day! 🚨Congratulations to our Star Students of the Year Joshua Talbott and Caelli DePaul! 🚨
Students received certifications in Investigative Tactics, GPS & Mapping, Fingerprint Analysis, Fire Behavior & Arson, Traffic Safety, Wilderness First Aid & Survival, Situational Awareness & Self Defense, Radio Communications, Drug & Addiction Education, Evidence Collection, Basic Fire and Emergency Management! The class is a hands on approach to get students the fundamentals of public safety, find a career path and exposure to jobs in Fire, Law and OES.

To continue with the last week of school festivities for the Class of 2024 seniors, we hosted a “Senior Signing Day” where each senior was recognized in Senior Seminar with a picture holding a pennant of their post-secondary plan- 4-Year University, Junior College, Military, Trade School, or Workforce🙌🏼 GEAR UP also gifted 19 of our seniors College Readiness Backpacks and MacBook laptops for those that entered the giveaway based on grades on track to graduate, applied to one college and one scholarship and filled out the FAFSA. We are so excited for our seniors- they are WORLD CHANGERS! 🌎 💜

2024 Summer School enrollment is open! Students who need to make up credits are STRONGLY encouraged to enroll. Enrollment packets are available outside the office & the deadline has been extended through Friday. Give us a call if you have questions.
We start our final English & Math MAP testing of the year this week, Monday, 5/6!!! Please make sure our kiddos are rested, fed & on time to school. We use these results to show growth and to identify learning deficits so that we know how to help our students grow in mastery. We got this! #mhsisacademicallystrong

Our Brave Juniors will kick-off CAASPP testing with ELA the week of April 4-12. This is how the state measures our academic success & career & college readiness. Please encourage our kiddos to do their best on this test. The testing periods for next week are 1,2,3 on A days & 6 & 7 on B days. Please make sure our kiddos are at school & on time! Let's do this!
