The MMS Rotary Interact Club will be hosting a "Purple Pinky" dance for students on Friday, October 21 from 6-8pm at Modoc Middle School. "Purple Pinky" refers to the practice of providing Polio vaccinations in developing countries where vaccinated individuals have their pinky finger dyed purple to indicate they have been vaccinated. In partnership with Alturas' Rotary Clubs, the proceeds from this dance will be donated to the world wide fight against Polio. The dance is open to MMS students who meet eligibility requirements. Please call (530) 233-7201 if you have any questions.
